Row 1: 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch, turn. (10sts)
Row 2: 1ss into each dc, turn Row 2: 1ch, 1dc into each ss, turn.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until work fits around egg (approx. 28 rows).
Fold your work in half to make a tube and sew the top and bottom edges together. Using a running stitch, gather the top of the egg cosy and pull tightly to close. Fasten off and secure.

Arm
Using yarn A and 4mm hook ch11
Work row 1 and 2 the same as the body until 12 rows have been worked.
Fold work in half with RS facing out and sew one short end together, then sew the top and bottom edges together.
Before securing, pull the thread a little to gather the seam. This creates the bend for the arm. Once you have the correct bend, secure thread.
Make a small pom pom using yarn B and attach to the top of the arm.
Using the image as a guide, sew the arm onto the body. Sew in all ends.
