Craft your own table decorations this Easter with these fun and easy to make origami egg cups! They're the perfect paper craft to enjoy with family and friends and only require a sheet of coloured paper.

They are practical, cute and guaranteed to impress any visitors in your home. Decorate them using coloured pens or personalise them with names to use as place settings.

Step 1
Fold a 15cm square of paper down in half.

Step 2
Fold in half again, then unfold.

Step 3
Fold the side edges to the centre.

Step 4
Put your finger where the arrow is between the paper, open it to the right.

Step 5
Squash fold by pressing the top down and flatten into a triangle.

Step 6
Repeat step 4 on the left side. Put your finger where the arrow is between the paper, open it to the left.

Step 7
Squash fold by pressing the top down and flatten into a triangle.

Step 8
Fold both side flaps behind.

Step 9
Fold both bottom corners to the centre.

Step 10
Fold the top layer of the bottom point up.

Step 11
Turn over.

Fold both bottom corners to the centre.

Fold the bottom point up.

Open the model from the bottom where the arrow is.

Keep open and press the top into a 'valley'.

Your origami egg cup is now complete! Personalise your creations with colourful pens and fill them with eggs. You could use mache, felt, wooden or even real eggs!
