How to make

What you will need:

Christmas Snow House mould

Wilton Candy Melts in bright white, dark cocoa, light cocoa, green, yellow and red

Various sweets to decorate

Cake pop sticks

Step 1

Firstly, use the pop stick to fill in the windows with melted white Candy Melts.

Step 2

Use the green Candy Melts for the wreath on the door and the tree. Pick out any other details with coloured Candy Melts such as the scarf on the snowman and the red ribbon on the wreath. Then the doors can be filled in with yellow, using the pop stick to spread the Candy Melts to the edges.

Step 3

When the details have set you can start to fill the mould with the main colours – white for the snowman, yellow for the present, dark cocoa for the four walls and light cocoa for the roof and gingerbread person.

Step 4

Leave the house to completely set hard.

Step 5

To turn out the pieces, lay on a flat surface and peel the mould away from the Candy Melts

Step 6

To begin the construction of your house, lay one of the end pieces face down on a flat surface and stick the two walls on either side using melted Candy Melts as the 'glue'. When this has set stand the house the right way up and attach the other end piece.

Step 7

Attach the roof, one panel at a time and then your house is ready to decorate however you like! Use melted Candy Melts to attach the sweets to the house. Add any other details such as the baubles on the tree and the face on the gingerbread person.

Step 8

Position the house on the cake board and cover the whole board with white Candy Melts to look like the snowy ground. Attach the tree and other pieces whilst this is still wet and add sweets for a pathway to the door.

Delicious!

The finished house. It almost looks too good to eat . . . almost!
