How to make
Remove the lids from each of your jars, and proceed to paint them black. They may need a couple of layers.
Once you have created your lanterns, add your LED tealights ready for your Halloween party (do not use real tea lights as this could be a fire risk).
Cut your orange crepe paper to size using the jar as a guide. Then, cover your jar with PVA Glue.
Once this is done, place your jar onto your coloured crepe paper and gently roll to cover your jar.
Make some pumpkin leaves by twisting some green pipe cleaners round a pencil and gently pull them off.
Attach your pumpkin leaves to your handle and there you have it!
Coat the jar in a layer of PVA glue using a spatula or small sponge.
Then, take a strip of white crepe paper and start to wrap it round like a bandage.
Before you add your next bandage add your googly eyes, using odd sizes looks fun!
Then, continue to add your bandages.
Glue extra pieces of bandages over the pipe cleaners to make them look like they are poking out of the bandages.
Top Tip: If you make your bandages too wet you can dry using a hair dryer.
Cut your purple crepe paper to size using the jar as a guide. Then, cover your jar with PVA Glue.
Once this is done, place your jar onto your coloured crepe paper and gently roll to cover your jar.
Allow your jar to fully dry, and then grab a black Posca pen and copy out your bats face onto the jar.
Coat your jar in a layer of PVA glue using a spatula or small sponge.
Then, place your jar onto your white crepe paper and gently roll to cover your jar. Leave your jar to dry.
Once dry, copy out the ghost's faces onto the jar using a black Posca pen.
