Simple and sweet, this Easter chick card is bound to melt the heart of anyone who receives it. All you need is a some paper, twine and googly eyes, and you're away!

How to make

Step 1

Draw an oval shape on to the yellow card. Draw two heart shaped wings onto pretty Spring Time paper. Draw a tiny beak and feather hair on to the orange card. Cut each component out and put aside.

Step 2

Cut two short lengths of twine for the legs. Slightly splay out the end of each length of twine for the chicks feet. Glue the top of the legs to the reverse of the yellow oval body shape.

Step 3

Arrange all the Chick components onto the white blank card. When you're happy with the layout, glue in place. Stick on two googly eyes.

Step 4

Print out a Tweet message and glue to the front of the card.

Top Tip!…If you don't have any twine, try using lengths of embroidery thread, string or wool with tiny knots tied in the ends for the chicks feet.
