How to Make Chocolate Flower Lollipops
Easter wouldn't be Easter without a little chocolate indulgence! These flower lollipops are really quick and easy to make – plus, they make a beautiful bouquet.
These flower lollipops make great Easter gifts. To make them an extra special treat, place the lollipop in a cellophane bag and secure with pastel coloured ribbon.
You will need
How to make
* Flowers Chocolate Mould
* Lollipop Sticks
* Deco Melts (we've used Pink, Yellow and Blue)
Follow the instructions on the back of the pack to melt the Candy Melts. This can either be done in a saucepan or in the microwave. Whichever method you choose make sure that you keep an eye on the chocolate at all times.
Once the Candy Melts have completely dissolved and you have a smooth flowing mixture, pour a little of one of the colours into the central circular section of the mould.
Leave this to set in the fridge for around 30 to 45 minutes.
Melt your next batch of Candy Melts and pour on top of the previously poured chocolate.
Once the mould is full use a spatula to ensure that the back of the chocolate sits flat.
Leave to set for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
Once set carefully remove from the mould, by gently pushing the front of the mould to release the chocolate.
Melt some more candy melts. With the chocolate flowers laying face down on a plate or tray, dip the end of the lollipop stick into the candy melts and then place on the back of the flower. You may need to use a spoon to add more chocolate on top of the stick whilst it's in position (use something to prop the end of the stick up so it sets flat).
Leave to set completely, preferably overnight.
