Step 1
Start this project by baking a cake according to packet instructions in a 12x12 sized cake tray.
Step 2
While the cake is baking, cut your white chocolate into squares and melt until silky smooth.
Step 3
Add your green colouring to the chocolate and once at the desired colour, pour into the succulent mould and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Step 4
Add the same green colouring to buttercream icing and pipe your succulents using the piping tips. Make sure to work at an angle and from the inside out. Place in fridge.
Step 5
Using a cookie cutter the same diameter of the jars, cut through the cooled cake to create mini tiers, cut them in half through the middle to make them thinner.

Step 6
Assemble your jars with icing first, and then a layer of cake. Repeat this step so you should have 2 layers of cake and 3 of icing.
Step 7
The succulent chocolates are ready to be popped out of their moulds and placed on top of the final layer, mix up the sizes too!
Step 8
The buttercream succulents should now have set, so place these among the chocolate ones, and you can also add small pink flowers for a colourful flourish.
Step 9
Your Terrarium Cake Jars are now complete!
