Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 1

Choose a sheet of 12 x 12 inch patterned paper.

Bring the top edge to meet the bottom edge and then crease, to fold the paper in half.

Unfold and then fold the top and bottom edges to the centre fold.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 2

Open paper back out. Fold side edges in by 5cm.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 3

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 4

Apply Washi tape to each long fold.

The 4th length of tape will attach the two outer edges, and when taped together you will have a long tube.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 5

Fold short edges in at one end and using double-sided tape close the open end.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 6

To make rosette decoration, cut a 3 x 30cm piece of patterned paper and score and fold at 1cm intervals along the long edge (forming a concertina fold).

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 7

Glue the short edges of the concertina strip together to form a circle.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 8

Cut a 2 cm square of white card.

Apply glue to one side of the square.

Pinch the concertina paper ring together at the top and then gently push the paper ring down in the centre.

Apply the glue-side of the card square to the paper ring to attach.

You will have to hold for a few moments until the glue dries.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 9

Using a punch, cut out a one inch circle in red glitter card and attach silver Shimmer Gems to centre of the circle.

Glue circle to top of rosette.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 10

Freehand cut three leaves from patterned paper and gently fold each along their length to give some shape.

Glue the leaves together at stem.

Creating a Gift Box from a Single Sheet of Paper - Step 11

Using double-sided tape stick a 2½ x 7cm strip of white card to a 3 x 7½ cm of red glitter card and stick this to the box front.

Glue leaves and rosette to the box front so that rosette is slightly overlapping the gift card.

Fill box with gift and, using double-sided tape, seal up the open end.

Using a silver ink pad, stamp snowflakes all over a sheet of A4 paper.

Stamped Wrapping Paper - Step 2

Wrap the present in the stamped paper.

Use double-sided tape to hold ribbon in place.

Trim ribbon ends if needed.

Stamped Wrapping Paper - Step 4

Double-sided tape a 4.5cm square of white card to a 5cm square of red glitter card. This is your gift tag.

Attach tag to present to hide the join of ribbon.
