Two Ways to Decorate a Mache Stags Head
Looking for a Christmas activity to do now that the nights are getting longer and everyone is staying inside keeping warm with their PJs and fluffy slippers on? This make will certainly keep you busy for an evening, and allow you to create a gorgeous, festive decoration to hang in your home in the run up to the big day.

Before getting stuck into your project, make sure you have a work area that you don't mind getting messy. Using a table cloth or newspaper will help to protect where you're working.
Start this make by painting the mache stag head with white craft acrylic paint. To have good paint coverage, you may need to apply 2-3 layers of paint. Allow enough drying time between each layer of paint.
Once the white paint has dried, paint the antlers of the stag head using gold craft acrylic paint. Again, for good paint coverage you may need to apply 2-3 layers of paint. This is an important step as it will help with step 4 and bring out the colour of the biodegradable glitter.

Now for the messy part…it's glitter time! Apply decopatch glue to the antlers using a paintbrush. Whilst the glue is wet sprinkle gold biodegradable glitter onto it and then allow this to dry.
