*Glue
*Scissors
*Cardboard tubes
*Cardboard tube
*Tinsel pipe cleaners
*Star stickers
Twist and manipulate the pipe cleaners to make fireworks shapes, you could try wrapping them around the glue stick, a pencil or simply twisting it with your fingers.
Place star stickers on the end of some of the pipecleaners for an explosive look and then put into the cardboard tube. If needed, you could attach the pipecleaners to the inside of the tube with tape.
Decorate the cardboard tube by adding some star stickers.
*Black A3 card
*Tinsel pipe cleaners
*Star stickers
*Metallic paper
Cut some rectangles and triangles from the card.
The triangle will be the top of the rocket, so ensure that the sizes compliment each other. Glue the shapes onto the black card to form the rockets.
Decorate by sticking on some stars.
Cut the pipe cleaners to the desired size and then twist them into shape.
Glue the pipe cleaners on to finish - you made need to use lots of glue (you could use PVA glue or glue dots for a faster solution)!
*Pipe cleaners
*Ready mix bright paint
*White card
Twist and manipulate the pipe cleaners to make fireworks shapes. Leave a length of the pipecleaner at the end so that your little one can use it to hold when making the prints.
Tip: ensure the shapes are as flat as possible so that they can absorb as much paint as possible.
Squeeze some paint onto a tray or paper plate and then press your pipecleaner into it and print onto the paper.
Repeat with all the shapes.
Tip: going over the same shapes in different colours can give a lovely effect.
