Enjoy stunning watercolour-effect feathers at the flick of your brush with these amazing acrylic inks by Daler Rowney. With a few simple techniques, you'll be able to create textured feather artworks in an array of colours.

There are lots of shades of acrylic ink to choose from in the FW Acrylic Ink range, including some beautiful pearlised inks, ideal for adding a little bit of shimmer to your works of art. All the inks within this collection are intermixable, allowing for beautiful colour combinations to be achieved.

Step 1

Paint the basic shape of a feather with just water and a brush.

Step 2

Drop ink into the water and let it spread. Go wild and choose any colours you have.

Repeat with different colours.

Step 3

Use a clean brush to pull ink away and reveal more of the paper beneath.
