Assembly

1) Pin the top of the Face Patch onto the Head approximately over round 9 and push the safety eyes through the stitches of the head. If you are happy with the way it looks, secure the eyes through both layers, and attach Face Patch to the Head. Weave in the remaining yarn tail.

2) Attach the Head to the Body (using round 26) and weave in the remaining yarn tail.

3) Attach the wings to either side of the body on round 24, using the leftover yarn tail. Weave in the remaining yarn tail.

4) Place the top edge of the Body Patch onto round 23 of the body and sew around to attach. Weave in the remaining yarn tail.

5) Begin by pinning each piece of the Neck Plume at the top of the body, slightly below the attachment line. When you are happy with the alignment, sew each piece of the plume individually around the 'neck'. To help each piece sit flush against the body, use back stitches. Weave in each yarn tail to help secure.

6) Pin the feet to the base of the body so the top of each foot sits between rounds 4 and 6, to align with the midpoint of the wings. Feel free to have a little play with the positioning. Once happy sew and weave in the remaining yarn tail.

7) Slide on each slipper. If you would like them to be secure, sew in place with back stitch.

8) Wrap the mask just above the eyes and tie a shoelace knot on the back of the head. This will allow the mask to be moveable over the eyes.

9) Feel free to experiment with where you attach the blanket. In the image above, the blanket is attached to the wings to make it look like a cape, using 3 straws of yarn B.
