How to make

Step-1
Draw your design onto the ceramic shape using light pencil lines. You can do this by either drawing directly onto the bauble or drawing onto a piece of tracing paper and transferring the pencil lines.
Step-2
Create your colour palette. Mix your paints until you have a palette of complementary shades that match your design. Muted yellows, dark blues and reds and a few shades of green work well. You may also want to create an off-white colour for highlights.

Step-3
Start to fill in the shapes by painting block colours. Start with base colours and add smaller details once your first layer has dried.

Step-4
Use a small brush to add tiny details to your design like fur and feather textures, eyelids and leaf veins.
