Beautiful to knit with
The colour, a lovely soft dove grey, attracted me to this yarn but it has the added bonus of being beautiful to handle with excellent stitch definition.
A little pricey but very good value if you hit on a 3 for 2 offer.

Easy to work with
Lovely strong colour; easy to work with ...I’m using it to crochet; soft but with some texture: I have used similar yarns before but this is lovely to work with.

Nice but expensive
I went to buy wool and as a dyslexic I saw the 3 for 2 as £3.20 if felt lovely and I’ve heard good things about it
You can imagine the shock when the girl said £12 that’s still £4 a ball each.
As I am knitting for friends baby i am on a budget as I don’t work so I had to give it back ☹️and get 3 balls of the cheaper wool which was just under £6 for all 3

Good quality British wool
I have now bought 5 balls of this grey wool and 5 more Plum and 1 in mustard, to complete a cardigan. Nice quality soft wool without any knots in ball. Crochets up nicely with a 4mm hook. Slightly thinner than previous double knit wool I have used, but width of wool is consistent throughout ball.

Home grown
Not much 100% wool yarn at my local shop but I did find this one and some WYS. There were some nice colours including a petrol blue, but i wish less of the in store yarns were acrylic or acrylic mix because if I am buying new yarn I prefer buying natural fibres.

Not feltable
I bought this yarn, supposedly 100% wool, for felting. It has resisted many attempts to felt so either has an acrylic or silk content or has been superwashed. I registered a complaint a week ago but no response so far.

Home grown wool!
As expected from British wool it is relatively coarse with a slight hairiness! Should be hardwearing though and it is a great price. Just what I wanted for a knitted fisherman's gansey. Lovely shade of silver grey.
