Abbreviations

CH – Chain
MR – Magic Ring
SK – Skip
SS – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet
TR – Treble

Wreath Cover: Step-1

Row 1: Using the WI Premium Acrylic in Yellow and a 4mm hook, start with a slip knot then CH 30. Into the 2nd CH from the hook work a DC. Then work a DC into every stitch across your foundation chain. (29 stitches) Make sure at this point that it will wrap around the width of your wreath and meet. If it does not, simply pull it out and re-do, adding a few more stitches to the initial CH.

Step-2
Row 2-200: Turn, CH 1, then work a DC into the very first and each stitch across. Rather than count the rows, as your tension might be different to mine, you can measure it by seeing if it will fit around the perimeter of your wreath ring Break off yarn when long enough leaving a good meter of length to sew it up with.
Step-3
Sewing up: Sew the two short edges together with a whip stitch.
Step-4

Now fit it around your wreath ring and start sewing the long edges together placing the seam on the inside of the ring.

Try and match the row ends, otherwise you will end up with uneven sides when you get to the end. Now your wreath is ready to decorate.

Double Layered Flowers:Step-1

Round 1: Using the WI Premium Acrylic and a 4mm hook, CH2, then work 6 DC's into the 2nd CH from the hook. SS to join. (6 stitches) Round 2: CH2, work a DC into the same stitch as the beginning CH, then work 2 x DC's into each stitch. SS to join (12 stitches)

Step-2
Round 3: **CH5, SK1, SS in next. Repeat from ** all the way around ending on a SS (6 loops) Rounds 4: SS into 1st loop, then work (DC, HTR, TR, DTR, TR, HTR, DC) into that same loop. Repeat what is in the brackets into each loop around (6 petals) Break off yarn.
Step-3
Round 5: Now, push those petals back and use the stitches in the centre of the petals that were missed in Round 6: Add a new colour yarn and into each of these stitches work (DC, 3xTR’s, DC) (6 petals). Break off yarn. Make 5 different coloured flowers and space evenly around the wreath form, don’t be too worried about exact placement as it looks better if it is slightly random.
