A Large Cardboard Box
Cut out a large oval shape, measuring approximately 60cm x 50cm from corrugated card then use it as a template to create another the same.
Without unfolding the crepe paper, cut slits all the way along the fold, almost to the top (about a 1cm wide). Cut away the top and bottom long edges to make a large set of tasselled strips.
Glue the strips onto the card circles, starting at the bottom (the narrow side) and working your way up, overlapping the tassels as you go.
For the eye, use a side plate as a template to cut a circle each from the white and beige card. Cut the beige circle into a crescent shape to create the eyelid. From the black card, cut a smaller circle (about 7cm) for a pupil and 9 strips (about 1cm x 15cm) for eyelashes.
Glue the eyelashes onto the eyelid and leave to dry. Then flip the eyelid round and use your fingers to curl the eyelashes out.
Glue the white eye onto the centre of the body. Glue the pupil in the middle, then add the eye lid on top, lining up the top edges of the card.
Use a blue pen to draw veins onto the white of the eye.
For the straps, cut 2 strips of elastic measuring about 25cm - check this length on the shoulder and adjust to fit. Staple the elastic to the top of fing's head, with the sharp side of the staple on the outside. Staple the other side to the back piece.
