Download the below template in preparation for your project.
Using a sponge brush and a selection of paint colours, carefully drip the paint randomly over a piece of white card.
Lightly drag the paint brush across the card to cover the whole piece.
Whilst the paint is drying, print and cut out the hat and pompom maker templates.
Draw around, and cut out 2x pompom maker shapes out of thick card/cardboard box.
Insert scissors between the 2 pieces of cardboard pompom maker and cut all the strands of yarn. Be sure to secure yarn using your hands whilst cutting so that you don’t loose any strands.
Using the 50cm length of yarn, fold in half and tie between the 2 pieces of card securing the yarn. Use a double knot.
When the painted paper had completely dried, use the hat template to draw around and cut out.
Finally, it's time to assemble! Glue the brim and pompom to the hat, and repeat for multiple hats!
