You will need
Unravel two of your raffia bundles, and layer both ends of the raffia on top of one another. Leave the remaining raffia bundle for the rest of the plant hanger.
Join the raffia bundle ends with two strands of loose raffia. Wrap the loose raffia clockwise, and tightly. To secure the wrapped section, tuck any loose ends using your scissors.
Thread your wooden ring into the centre of your raffia, where you have joined the two bundles. This will be where you will hang your plant hanger from.
Cut 30cm of Pink ribbon raffia
Make a gathering knot by creating a 'U' shape, and wrap your pink ribbon tightly and anticlockwise 6 times. Ensure to leave a small loop visible at the bottom.
Secure the gathering knot by tucking the loose end under the loop. Pull the loose strand at the top, until the loop at the bottom isn't visible anymore. Cut any loose ends using scissors.
Hang your raffia on a railing, using your S hook or attach to a table top
Split your raffia into two sections
Gather 6 strands of raffia from your third bundle. Wrap material anticlockwise on the right section of your plant hanger. To secure the wrapped section, tuck any loose ends using your scissors.
Repeat step 9 on the left section of your plant hanger.
Secure your strands by tucking loose raffia ends with your scissors.
Create an alternating loop pattern by taking the right section and looping it behind the left section. Pull the end tightly through the loop.
Repeat step 12 with the left section.
Tie off each section with a gathering knot. Use your pink raffia to add a pop of colour. Refer to steps 5 and 6 on how to create this knot.
Split the remaining strands into four sections. Wrap loose raffia around each section using the same method detailed in step 9.
Layer the remaining pieces of raffia from your third raffia bundle, over the bottom of your plant hanger.
Tie all your strands together using a gathering knot. Use your pink raffia to add a pop of colour. Refer to steps 5 and 6 on how to create this knot.
Trim loose raffia ends to your desired plant hanger length.
