Begin by positioning the bubbles stencil vertically over an opened 5x7 inch white card blank, mainly on the left side. Secure with small pieces of craft tape.
Use a blending tool and sponge pad to pick up some green metallic ink, and gently apply it in small circular motions. Repeat several times, adding layers of ink down the centre of the stencil, fading out evenly on both sides.
Allow to dry
From the collection of Polychromos coloured pencils, pick out the Phthalo Blue 110, Light Ultramarine 140, and Emerald Green 163.
Re-position the stencil, and lightly colour three or four larger circles in each colour down the centre area.
Add more colour to the bottom left hand side of each circle to create depth and the illusion of bubbles.
Carefully remove the 'Happy Birthday' stamp, and place it onto an acrylic block.
With the stamp facing upwards, apply plenty of black ink by tapping the ink pad down onto the stamp. Stamp the caption towards the bottom right hand side of the card front.
Place the stencil in a similar position, offsetting the circles.
Lightly pencil a few more smaller circles overlapping the larger coloured bubbles.
Remove the stencil, and hand draw black circles over the pencil circles like before.
