You will also need:
* Apples
* Toppings - we've used chopped nuts, honeycomb and fudge
* Heatproof bowl
* Saucepan
* Greaseproof paper
* Wooden spoon
How to make
Begin by chopping the chocolate up; while doing this, place water into a saucepan and bring to the boil, then simmer.
Place a heatproof bowl over the top of the saucepan (ensuring the water isn't touching the bottom of the bowl) then add the chocolate.
Use a wooden spoon to continuously stir the chocolate until it has melted.
Push a lollipop stick into the apple where the stalk would grow (remove this if it is still attached), then dip the apple into the chocolate using the wooden spoon to cover any areas that can't be reached.
Leave the chocolate to set for a few moments then re-cover the apple with more chocolate.
Once the chocolate has begun to set, sprinkle your chosen toppings over the apple, then place it back onto the greaseproof paper for the chocolate to fully set.
Top Tip: If the chocolate is struggling to set, place the apples into the fridge.
