How to make
Start by downloading the free template below to begin this superb project!
Start by choosing a pale green coloured sheet from the paper pad. Trim this creating a matted layer for the card front.
Use the fold at the top on the card.
Take a sheet of hammered card and trim it creating another matted layer.
Use the corner punch to cut all four corners.
Choose three coloured brush pens from the caddy, a green, a turquoise and a blue colour.
Scribble colour from each pen onto the acrylic block. Use a medium paint brush to pick up each colour one at a time with plenty of water. Loosely paint a watercolour background onto the prepared hammered card, from the bottom left hand corner across to the top right hand corner. Add splashes of water and dots of ink with the finer brush.
Allow to dry fully.
Use the template to transfer the leaf branch design twice onto the same green paper, and twice again onto white vellum.
Hand cut all four leaf branches.
Use the template again to transfer both captions onto the watercolour hammered card.
Brush letter the captions using a grey pen from the caddy.
Fix in place the matted layer onto the card front, then glue down the prepared hammered card panel.
Place a vellum leaf branch over a green leaf branch, and intertwine a couple of leaves, hiding a tiny amount of glue behind to hold in place.
Add small amounts of foam pads to the underside of both leaf branches, and fix into place on the card front.
Then add a nice sprinkling of different sized white pearls in and around the foliage.
