Cut 1cm slices of watermelon and pineapple and use a large flower cutter to make the main body of the flower. Add smaller flowers to these made from thinner slices of melon or kiwi and use cocktail sticks to attach them in position. Add blueberries for the centre of the flowers.
Thread blueberries or grapes onto bamboo skewers and poke into each flower head. These fruity blooms can be displayed in a vase with extra foliage as an edible centrepiece for your party!
Chop celery into lengths approximately 6cm. Pipe spreadable cheese into the groove using a piping bag fitted with a small open star nozzle. Add pretzels for the wings and tiny currants for the eyes (you may need to cut them in half). Other options are peanut butter or cream cheese for the filling and seeds for the eyes. Cucumber slices for a snail shell or cherry tomato halves for a beetle/ladybird. Chives make good insect antennae!
