How to make
Abbreviations
k = knit
k2tog = knit 2 together
sl = slip
sts = stitches
C6F – Move 3 sts on a cable needle to the front of the work, knit the next 3 sts on the needle then knit the 3 sts on the holder
ss = stocking st
With 7mm needles cast on 74 stitches.
Row 1: *K1, p1* repeat to end
Row 2: *K1, p1* repeat to end
Continue until 10 rows have been worked in total.
Row 11- 14: Work in SS
Row 15: *Knit 6, C6F* repeat 6 times, Knit 2
Row 16: Purl
Row 17 – 28: Repeat Rows 11-16 twice
Row 29: *k1 k2tog k2tog k1, C6F* repeat 6 times, k2 (62sts)
Row 30-34: Work in SS
Row 35: *k1 k2tog k1, C6F* repeat 6 times, k2 (56sts)
Row 36: Purl
Row 37: *K3tog, k6* repeat 6 times, k2 (44sts)
Row 38-40: Work in SS
Row 41: [k1, C6F] repeat 6 times, k2
Row 42- 46: Work in SS
Row 47: K2tog until end (22sts)
Row 48: Using a needle thread the remaining sts off the needle and pull tight. Make sure the sts gather up and they are close together. Secure in place and knot the yarn.
