You Will Need
Cake decorated in frosting
Candy Melts in your chosen colours
Star cutters
Edible toppings – such as hundreds and thousands and edible glitter
Greaseproof paper
Baking tray
Palette knife
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Melt your chosen Candy Melts as per the pack instructions.
Once the Candy Melts have completely dissolved, spread the liquid across your baking tray until it's about the thickness of a pound coin to create a slab. Don't worry if you can't get the mixture completely smooth.
Add any edible toppings, gently pressing them into the mixture.
Leave until the mixture is almost set.
Press your cutters firmly into the slab.
Using a palette knife carefully remove the candy from around the cutter.
Gently remove the cutter from the greaseproof paper and carefully push the shape out of the cutter.
Repeat steps two to eight for remaining shapes.
